2012 Projects

Use community resources from individuals and groups to provide services and support for older adults who need assistance to age in place successfully.

Initiatives for 2012

Each quarter we will sponsor a food, service or supply drive to benefit one of the area non-profits providing services to seniors

  • March 14th – Non perishable food collection
  • June 13th – Incontinence supply collection
  • September 12th – Respite donations – monetary donations
  • December 12th – Food gift card collection

Partner with other groups in the community to work on various outreach projects throughout the year that directly impact seniors in our community

Grow the SCAIPC Outreach Fund and increase the number of request for assistance so that we can have a larger impact on seniors in our community.

The Coalition is dedicated to seeking out resources and opportunities to provide support (financial, in-kind services, advice) to older adults who need assistance to age-in-place successfully.

The Community Outreach Committee is responsible for coordinating donations to the Outreach Fund and for  selecting recipients for assistance who are identified by Coalition members.
