Charleston Senior Center
Thanks to the support
of our members for their help in providing
"canned" meats to the Charleston Senior Center
during June. Not only did we provide much needed
meat, we also made a $250 donation to the center
to assist them with their home delivered meal
program. They are very appreciative to the
SCAIP.
Air
Conditioners
Thanks to all of you
who were involved in meeting the need of 2
elderly seniors. Not only were we able to get
air conditioners for these senior, we did it
within 24 hours from the request. We could not
have meet this goal without all of your
assistance, especially those who made donation
to assist with the cost of these units.
Working
Together
Many thanks to Johnsie
Currin, Trident Area Agency on Aging and Janet
Schumacher, Mayor's Council on Aging for their
efforts in assisting with two other request.
Because of their efforts, these two seniors were
able to get their needs met just by working
together. This is what SCAIP in all about. |
